Sikinos is located in the southern part of the Cyclades, between Ios and Folegandros. It is an island of unspoiled Cycladic physiognomy and outstanding natural beauty. The local economy is based on the production and export of wine, oil and milk. Sikinos is ideal for those who love tranquility. The road network of the island is quite limited but you can reach beautiful and secluded beaches on foot via some footpath or by boat. The people of Sikinos are friendly and hospitable and they have managed to keep the local traditions alive. Many festivals take place on the island and as a tourist, you will be welcome to participate and dance and eat with the locals.

How to get there:

  • The island is connected to Piraeus by speed boat (duration of the journey: 3.5 hours) or ship (duration of the journey: 7.5 hours). It is also connected to other Cycladic islands such as Ios, Folegandros, Paros, Milos, Santorini etc. The frequency of the itineraries varies depending on the season.
